We’d like to congratulate Trina Williams, a founding Parents Union member of the Inglewood Chapter who recently won a seat on the Inglewood School Board. Williams is a teacher and administrator of South Bay Lutheran Academy who decided that Inglewood Schools could do better and ran for School Board. This was her first time running for office and she is the first member of the Parents Union to win elected office. Trina has done much over her career including founding a Gang Alternative Theatrical Society, and participating in the Building Achieving Minds after-school project, Pathways to Your Future mentorship program and South Bay Lutheran's Evening School program.
