Desert Trails Parent Union parents brave actions is changing the nation. The Associated Press article appeared in newspapers around the country as parents across America learned about a brave group of parents collected support from an overwhelming majority of parents to change their school. 

Today gives the district 36 days to work with parents and parents won't stop anything short of what is best for kids.

Parents at Desert Trails made history yesterday when they submitted the second historic Parent Trigger petition.

Great local story on the Desert Trails Parent Union!

The San Bernardino Sun joined the Desert Trails Parent Union parents as they dropped their historic Parent Trigger petitions to the district. With over seventy percent of the school in support, the paper laid out how they want to negotiate with the district: 

"The district has 40 days to respond to the parents, who organized last year as the Desert Trails Parent Union. If parents are not satisfied with the district's response, the school could become a parent-controlled charter school."
